Good news: temperatures are headed for the mid-60s this weekend. Bad news: you have absolutely no excuse to sit at home. Buffalo has a packed few days ahead and whether you are into live music, comedy, good food, or just getting out of the house, there is something on this list for you.
Here is your weekend cheat sheet.
The Warm Weather Is Your Sign to Get Outside
Before we even get to the events, let's just acknowledge that 60-plus degrees in early March in Buffalo is basically a holiday. The waterfront, Canalside, Delaware Park, the Elmwood strip. All of it is going to feel incredible this weekend after the winter we just had. Do not waste it sitting inside scrolling your phone. Get out there first, then pick one of the things below.

The St. Patrick's Day Season Officially Begins
Buffalo takes St. Patrick's Day seriously and the warm weekend weather means bar crawls, green drinks, and outdoor crowds are starting early this year. The 8th Annual LepreCon Bar Crawl is coming up and spots are already moving. Keep an eye on eventbrite.com for details and get your crew together before it sells out.
Sunday Recovery Plan: Find a Patio
After a weekend like this one, Sunday calls for a patio, a cold drink, and no obligations. Canalside, the waterfront, Elmwood Village, take your pick. Buffalo in 60-degree March sunshine hits different. Enjoy every second of it because Lake Erie will remind us all of its power soon enough.
